She was born in Surat, Gujarat, India on 10th May , 1981. She is Punjabi and got the name Namita M Vankwala. She appeared in his first two films Telugu Bhairavi screen name. Ends Ratnam College of Arts College, Surat.
She won the Miss Surat crown in 1998 and participated in the Femina Miss India in 2001, fourth in the league.
